Sumter's season comes to a close with a 3-0 loss to Goose Creek in the State Playoffs. Sumter finished tied for second in Region VI AAAA. Sumter will hold it's annual Volleyball Awards Banquet at Grace Baptist Church Fellowship Hall on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 6:30 PM. The menu is as follows: Bar-B-Que, Hash, Rice, Potato Salad, Bread, Tea, and Cookies. Student ahletes meals will be payed for, all others eating will be charged $6.50 per person for food.
